Lincoln SuperGlaze 5556 Aluminum TIG Rod
SuperGlaze® 5556 Aluminum Magnesium Manganese filler rod gives the highest as-welded strengths in fillets. It is commonly used for welding high strength base materials like 5083 and provides good strength on 6XXX base materials.
Features
- Provides higher tensile strengths for welding of higher strength 5XXX alloys
- Increased amounts of magnesium and manganese for excellent corrosion resistance
- High Columnar strength
- Not recommended for prolonged elevated service temperatures (150F)
- Alloy embossed on each rod for easy identification
